Some clever chap called Robert Jarvis has come up with a way to create a 5$ DIY drum pad for Ableton Live/Max for Live.

The thing works by taking the keystrokes sent out from a small silicon calculator and converts them into midi signals.

Wacom tablet + Max for Live + APC40 = cool theremin

Automapping Ohm64 in Ableton Live tutorial

This tutorial video shows you how to use the automap feature of the Ohm 64 and Ableton Live. The Ohm 64 uses a custom script and mackie emulation to enable full intergration between the ohm 64 and Ableton Live for recording and performing.
