So recently Akai have released thier new APC40 controller specifically built for performing with Ableton Live. This is certainly exciting news for us laptop performers. We’ve been longing for a dedicated Ableton Live controller for years. Lets have a look at some videos.

Just dug out this video of Luke Vibert playing a live set on his laptop. I’m a big fan of Viberts stuff but i have to say this video certainly backs up the stereo typical laptop performance, music is good though.
